Leonie Anderson is a makeup artist for film and theatre.

Over the years she developed her own brand of cosmetics and has just experienced some success selling to local outlets.

She believes the general public would love her product, however needs to be sensitive to her retailers not to undercut their profits.

Because of limited time and resources she needs an effective way to reach this broader world market.

Showtime would have a custom website designed to the look and feel of the company's cosmetics.

Because of the nature of product, the site will be flamboyant and lively.

A webshop feature will allow Leonie to enter product with 2 levels of "client", Wholesale and Retail.

Her retailers can register and enjoy wholesale pricing, where unregistered users would pay full retail on her products.

The web allows her to pass on savings as the overheads are nil compared to bricks and mortar type retail outlets.

CASE #3> Pedro's Tapas Cafe Bar

A traditional Tapas house cafe/bar run by Pedro and his daughter Johanna as floor manager. They enjoy a loyal customer base and fun traditional sample nights once a month.

Pedro's has a large upstairs function room which is often booked for various functions, and live traditional music plays every Friday and Saturday night.

Amanda has the task of managing the policies and politics of a National company with over 300 employees.

HR and workplace legislation is a dynamic beast that requires constant attention and updating.

Amanda also manages the social and trade related functions of the business.

Currently: To update the company internet and intranet (internal access website), department managers would submit latest news and procedures for her review and authorisation. Once she is happy with content, this is forwarded to their internal web designer and then forwarded to the IT department for uploading or publishing to the web servers.
